This Firefighter Helmet Chin Strap is hand-crafted with one layer of whole grain English Bridle and Natural Veg Tan leather from Hermann Oak.

This is designed with a quick release buckle and a very stout spring clip for easy donning and doffing. (The Super Salty DOESN’T have the quick release buckle)

The strap is 3/4 of an inch wide and thickness measures approximately 3/16 of an inch. We offer 2 lengths: Standard, fresh out of fire college yellow helmet length wide open of 24 inches & the Salty, “I’ll throw back my helmet and mask up without DC’ing my chin strap” length of 30 inches. This work of art provides functionality and longevity for many generations to come.
